The History

Stockholm Lighting was founded 1997 by Rikard Ahlstrand and Eric Bohman. During the first years focus was on the entertainment business with products like moving-heads.dimmer systems and truss. Soon, possibilities occured to transfer the ideas of lighting in the entertainment world to other businesses like retail and hospitality. At a trade show in 1999 the first contacts were taken with a small American company, Color Kinetics, working with LED-technology. That was the start of a partnership that is still on-going.
