Linköping City has over the last few years invested heavily in  lighting in the city. The annual event "Winter Light" with their creative temporary light installations has put focus on the lighting in the city  Each year some permanent installations are made as part of a long-term investment in exciting lighting of the city. A good example is the walking and bicycle tunnel at Industrigatan.
